It's not often that girl groups appear in these pages but the only 45 from the little-known Cashelles is worth making an exception for. The lead singer has a high register but a really gritty and compelling tone which gives Windsor King's song a hard edged and dramatic feel. You can tell this is a New York recording from the beat ballad sound - love that swirling organ. And it's even better when the horns come in to reinforce the riff.
