This 45 appears to be a one-off for the little known Lenny Jennings – but 
Easy Baby fully deserves its place in these archives. A tuneful swaying introduction leads Lenny into a strong piece of what amounts to southern soul. Love his falsetto phrases – and the chord changes behind him are just perfect. This great cut was put together by Chris Towns and the musicians were Sticks Evans and his Band. Lively flip is pretty good too.
