Cee Cee Mitchell
This Nashville obscurity was put together by local music man Bob Riley, always a sign of quality, and A Good Loving Man doesn’t disappoint. It’s a fine piece of southern soul, structured in the grand manner, on which Ms Mitchell is suitably confident and forthcoming. Nice little rap in the run out groove as well. I like the horns of course, and the triplet piano, but most of all the lovely chord changes.
