Ric-Shaws

Yet another of those mysterious groups who had just the one 45 released. And judging by the impassioned style of the Ric-Shaws on ListenSometimes I Cry they may well have been a gospel quartet moonlighting from the church. The harmonies are as good as you might expect and the intensity of the lead singer really hits home. I like the bluesy guitarist as well – naturally. No idea where this was recorded but it sounds like a southern production to me.
