Soul Brothers
As readers of these pages will know I’m a real sucker for that oddest of soul formations, the male duo. And these guys – Tony and Bill according to the label – certainly make the grade. 
She Put A Hurting On Me is a New York beat ballad full of good things. The horn rich, southern style arrangement by Robert Banks is very much to my taste, but the best aspect of the disc is the righteous testifying of the vocalists. Can anybody shed some light on just who these guys were?
